Production companies research

As a group we need to begin thinking about our production company logo. Before we can begin this we need to research the types of logos that production companies have as this will help us when designing our own logo.

Different types of companies have different types of logos. Large production companies like Universal, Paramount and Warner Bros. tend to use logos which have a larger appeal to audiences without reflecting any particular theme or genre.

However for production companies who work independently and specialize in making certain films there usually is a more themed logo. for example, film production companies like Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay's Production company Gary Sanchez Productions.

As a group we began discussing possible ideas for our production company name and logo. We decided to go for a slightly themed name that would relate to the genre of our opening sequence. Our initial ideas for the production company name were :

• Sisters Grimm
• Grimm Tales
• Sisters Grimm Productions

In order to develop these ideas we will begin sketching logo ideas and then go onto creating the actual company logos.
