Casting Shots

We are arranging a time to take the casting shots of our main character, Ellen Maslin playing 'Red'. This will give us an opportunity to play around with her character's personality, and give her a chance to adapt the part and make it her own.

Inspiration for production company logo

Hannah came up with the idea of a gun shooting out hearts and then as a group we found an image that we all liked and have looked at a different name called 'love gun productions'.

Title

We are currently thinking about what the title of our film is going to be, we have a few options. These are :

• Red
• The truth behind Red
• The kiss of death
• The red kiss
• Reds redemption
• The revenge of Red
• The truth about Red

We decided upon the title of 'Red', as it's short, simple and effective. 

Production company intros

We are now at the stage where we can begin thinking about our production company logo. To begin making ideas I thought that the best idea would be to research any existing production company intros.

The first video that I looked at was a five minute clip of consecutive film production companies, some which I had seen previously, however many which I have not seen before, which means they are most likely to belong to independent film production companies. I found this very useful as it showed a range of different logos and will be very useful when designing our own.

The next after watching this clip I thought of an idea that we could possible use for our logo and I quickly sketched it down.
